The Dixie Patrol is an 8-piece band playing all the great New Orleans, Dixieland and Roaring 20's tunes. They play the actual arrangements of Bob Crosby's Bobcats, Red Nichols 5 Pennies, The Dukes Of Dixieland and many others. In addition, the band can perform Swing, Jitterbug, Foxtrots, Waltzes and Latin dance tunes by special request. The musicians in the Dixie Patrol have played with Henry Mancini, Andy Williams, Liza Minelli, Marvin Hamlisch, The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Duke Ellington, Bob Crosby, Sammy Kaye, members of the Lawrence Welk Orchestra and the local Chicago society bands of Franz Benteler and Stanley Paul.
